Polaroid Corp., the company that pioneered instant photography, is exiting the film business and closing plants in Massachusetts, Mexico and the Netherlands as it focuses on digital photography and flat-panel TVs. Polaroid will close large-format film facilities in Norwood and Waltham, Mass., and cut 150 jobs by the end of the quarter. A professional-grade film factory in Mexico and a site in the Netherlands that makes consumer film packs also are to close this year. Polaroid, bought out by the Petters Group Worldwide in 2005, last month introduced a line of Zink printers that can develop wallet-sized photos from digital cameras in 60 seconds.

my beaut is for sale. been with me for a couple of months and am deciding to sell it because i am getting another bike. this is a canary yellow lotus frame, 46x18 (perfect for uphill riding), and suited for a rider in the 5'7"-5'10" range. some of the maintenance i've done on it is basically just fix up the chain tension, put on a new brooks saddle (not shown), and shaved off the holds on the top tube for the rear brake. as you can see above the chain tension is loose and that's a picture from when i first got it so since then i've tightened it up properly, don't worry. also, there have just been basic tune ups here and there which one can easily do from home. if you want more info, pictures anything else let me know.
can only sell to those in the southern california area. just waiting a couple of more weeks before putting it on craigslist.
